Privacy Policy
HeartTrack is designed for private blood pressure and cardiac health tracking. Health data is used only to provide the app's health tracking, reporting, reminder, Apple Watch, widget, Apple Health, cloud sync, and caregiver-sharing features.
Information You Choose to Store
HeartTrack may store blood pressure readings, pulse, medication entries, dose logs, symptoms, labs, ECG attachments, weight-related settings, reports, caregiver sharing records, and app preferences that you choose to enter or import.
Apple Health
If you enable Apple Health, HeartTrack may read supported health records such as blood pressure, heart rate, weight, steps, resting heart rate, and ECG records. HeartTrack may write blood pressure, pulse, and weight entries back to Apple Health when you choose to enable those features. You can revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings.
Firebase Sync and Care Sharing
HeartTrack stores records on your device first. If you sign in with Apple and enable cloud sync or invite a care team member, selected app records may sync to Firebase so your history can follow you across devices or be visible to invited read-only caregivers. Caregiver viewers receive read-only access unless you explicitly use a role that allows tracking.
Accounts and Purchases
Sign in with Apple creates the Firebase account used for optional cloud sync and caregiver sharing. HeartTrack uses Apple's In-App Purchase system for the one-time Full Access unlock. Purchase processing is handled by Apple.
Notifications and Camera
HeartTrack uses local notifications for reminders and summaries. If you use BP scanner features, camera access helps capture readings from your blood pressure device display. Camera input is used for that feature and is not used for advertising.
No Advertising or Tracking
HeartTrack does not use health data for advertising, marketing, data mining, or third-party tracking.
Children
HeartTrack is not directed to children.
Medical Disclaimer
HeartTrack is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical care. If you believe you may be having a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
